What makes SilentR different from PIR and PUR?
1. Advanced Resin bonded glass core.
Unlike PIR and PUF ducts, SilentR is manufactured from high quality resin bonded glass core. This material provides exceptional thermal resistance, helping reduce energy loss and keep HVAC systems running efficiently.
2. Quietest Duct in the segment.
SilentR Pre-Insulated Duct is a natural sound absorber, significantly cutting down noise transmission through ducts. This makes SilentR ideal for sound sensitive environments like offices, hospitals, hotels and luxury residences.
3. Inherently Moisture Resistant.
The tightly packed structure of the resin bonded glass core creates a rigid structure which is inherently moisture resistant. This robustness prevents sagging, cracking and mold growth issues commonly seen with PIR and PUF ducts over time.
4. Fire Safety.
SilentR Pre-Insulated Duct is non-combustible and rated as a Class 0 Pre-Insulated Duct as per UL-181 and A1 as per EN-13501. Unlike the traditional PIR and PUF Ducts, SilentR Pre-Insulated Duct does not require any additional third party FR (Fire Rating) treatment.
